Llevar (to carry)
The most common use of the Spanish verb
El viajero lleva una tienda de campaña en su mochila.
The traveler carries a tent in his backpack.
La niña lleva su muñeca a la casa de su amiga.
The girl carries her doll to her friend’s house.
Llevar (to transport)
Also, this verb can mean to move or take something from one place to another.
Yo voy a llevar los sobres a la oficina de correos.
I will take the envelopes to the post office.
La secretaria lleva el dinero de la oficina al banco.
The secretary takes the money from the office to the bank.
A very similar meaning is to transport people.
El conductor del taxi lleva a los pasajeros a su casa.
The taxi driver takes the passengers to their house.
Nuestro amigo Antonio lleva a sus padres al aeropuerto. El vuelo sale a las cinco.
Our friend Antonio takes his parents to the airport. The flight leaves at five.
Llevar (to wear)
Mi primo David lleva un disfraz de momia a la fiesta de Halloween.
My cousin David wears a mummy costume for Halloween party.
Lucía y María llevan la camiseta de su equipo de fútbol favorito.
Lucía and María wear the shirt of their favorite soccer team.
Llevar (to lead)
Another meaning of this verb is to lead.
La pobreza de la población llevó al país a la quiebra.
The poverty of the population led the country to bankruptcy.
La enfermedad del padre llevó a la familia a la desesperación.
The disease of the dad led the family to desperation.
This verb can also be used in the sense of directing a project or business, or when talking about someone’s tasks.
Maribel lleva una empresa de traducciones en Chicago.
Maribel leads a translation company in Chicago.
Mónica lleva el departamento de marketing de la empresa de su madre.
Mónica leads the marketing department of her mom’s company.
Llevar (to contain)
El pastel de cumpleaños de mi tía lleva fresas y nata. Es una receta perfecta.
My aunt’s birthday cake has strawberries and cream. It is a perfect recipe.
Juana es vegetariana y la salsa boloñesa lleva carne. ¿Tienes una opción vegetariana?
Juana is vegetarian and the Bolognese sauce has meat in it. Do you have a vegetarian option?
Llevar (to deal with)
The last meaning we are going to cover today is to deal with or to manage a situation or behavior.
Luis es titiritero. Sus padres no llevan nada bien la elección de su hijo.
Luis is a puppeteer. His parents don’t deal well with their son’s choice.
Ignacio lleva bien la situación. Sabe cuidarse a sí mismo.
Ignacio deals well with the situation. He knows how to take care of himself.

I guess you mean “nueve de once bien” (9/11). You can say “bien” or “correctos”. “Derecha” refers to the side ‘not left’.
No, I meant I finally got one exercise correct. Tengo un should have been the start of the sentence. And then use correcto. Gracias.
